Nasty Sewage Backup?

Zoeller Sump Pump ??? Plumbers Choice Available To You Zoeller is king when it comes to sump pumps. What a wonderful fortune! Their pumps are available on the internet to consumers. Who is Zoeller? Zoeller is one of the oldest and largest family owned electric pump companies in the United States since 1939. Recently they acquired Flint and Walling another major pump company existing since 1866, the year FW built its first hand operated water pump. Independently both companies upheld strict quality standards. Together they are an even stronger quality focused company. Why Do Plumbers Prefer Zoeller Sump Pumps? Plumbers prefer Zoeller submersible sump pumps because each of their pumps is 100% factory tested. Plumbers know the pumps will operate the instant they are plugged in. They also know their quality and performance is outstanding. Quality Material is used throughout the sump pump. The pump housing, impeller and volute of the Mighty Mate Model M57 and Flow-Mate Models M98, M137 and M139 are cast iron (M59 is bronze). The longevity of these materials far surpasses thermoplastic used by competitors, especially when it comes to the impeller and volute. Even the more economical Mighty Mate M53 has a metal insert in its glass thermoplastic impeller for reinforced strength. The shaft for all models is ceramic carbonate which is stronger than the standard reinforced thermoplastic or stainless steel. The permanent seals are Neoprene Hermetic which is stronger than Buna N. Traditional Float-Switch Type Do not be deceived by the fact that Zoeller submersible sump pumps still use either the traditional tethered or vertical float switch. I met with Zoeller to discuss why they have not used some of the more recent water sensor technologies. Zoeller strives to meet the sump pump needs of the majority of consumers. Sump pit water polluted with chemicals, especially calcium carbonate, causes electronic sensor failure and dirty water causes diaphragms to become clogged and inoperable. Therefore, the old-fashioned tether and vertical float switches are their design of choice. Various Cut-in and Cut-Out Float Switch Settings The Zoeller pump cut-in/cut-out float-switch settings offer flexibility to the home owner with a range of cut-in at seven, nine or ten inches and cut-out at two or three inches. Cutting-in at ten inches and cutting-out at two inches works well for the home owner who lives in a high water table area where the pump runs more than once an hour even when it is not raining. The non-automatic pumps (BN53, N59, N137, N139) give even more flexibility since they allow for adding an external variable level tether or vertical float to be attached to the discharge pipe at the desired height of its user. Efficient Motor Zoeller sump pump motors are very efficient. Their one-half horse power pumps (M137 and M139) will push as much water as a competitor's three-quarter and some one HP pumps. Gallons pumped per hour at an identified lift determines the pumping capacity. Zoeller Pumps Are Available To You Zoeller pumps cannot be found in a local hardware store; however with the emergence of internet shopping, consumers can find them readily available online.
